I got out an inner tube from the garage to lift myself up so we could get more shots with that great blue sky. Guess who thought it was a blast to play with? Too bad the blue one wasn't blown up becuase the blue would have been really cool, though pink is a fun jolt of color.
This is the photo we got with me on the innertube. (I'm sure our neighbors thought we were nuts!) It didn't turn out so hot. Oh well, we had fun trying. 
If you can't tell, I really wanted "that" photo people get where they throw their kid in the air and capture them in mid-air. I don't throw Miles, yet, but even just swinging him up is hard to catch on camera. So we'll keep working on it trying different lenses and positions. We haven't quite got the shot we want, but we'll keep working to find it. (and get stronger biceps at the same time!)
We only had about 20 minutes or so to shoot today since Miles was hungry. We are trying again tomorrow. Taking photos is our favorite way to spend time together. Now, if only we had two cameras...
Tonight we got to meet up with Debbie and Mike, who I went to school with but haven't seen them in ages. It's been a really long time since John and I have both connected with another husband and wife and we had such a great time. Thanks for getting in touch with us Mike and Debbie. Looking forward to seeing you again soon and meeting your little guy.
